Mary B. Hoffman, “Jody” and her family moved from Chicago to a horse farm in the Waxhaw area 20+ years ago. Jody and her husband, Rich, are both “Army Brats” and grew up on military bases all over the world. While in Chicago, Jody earned her MBA from Northwestern University and her husband earned his MBA from The University of Chicago. Their three youngest children attended Union County Schools and North Carolina Colleges and Graduate Schools. Jody is an avid life-long equestrian and holds the USDF bronze medal and is working toward her silver medal with her talented horse, Davion.

Jody is active in the Waxhaw/Charlotte area community and has served on several local boards as well as the Board of Governors of The United States Pony Club, Inc., a National Not-for-Profit promoting leadership, sportsmanship, land use and conservation and horsemanship.
